ImageAfter finishing undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Zavosh received the acceptance into Palmer-West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California. He graduated with honors and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (DC) in 2001.  After completing the Canadian national and BC provincial chiropractic examinations, he started his first practice in Downtown Vancouver. Soon after, he opened up his second chiropractic practice in Coquitlam. Thereafter, he obtained a Diploma in Fitness and Nutrition. Dr. Zavosh is the Fitness World's chiropractor since 2003.

Extra Work: Dr. Zavosh enrolled in the Canadian Navy as a reserve officer for 2 years while attending UBC. He was stationed at HMCS Discovery Naval Base in Vancouver. After 2 years of service he moved to the United States to obtain his chiropractic degree.

Volunteer Work: Dr. Zavosh believes that everyone should have access to chiropractic care. He devoted 4 hours a week of his time for 4 years providing chiropractic care free of charge to the residents of Downtown east side where chiropractic care was highly needed the most; yet no one could afford it.  Also, he was one of the chiropractors who volunteered to provide chiropractic care to the people whom participated in "The Weekend to End the Breast Cancer” in 2005 and 2006.

The Focus: As a well trained chiropractor, Dr. Zavosh has a great knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating muscular and joint related injuries. The focus of his practice is on treating mechanical injuries and pain related to neck caused by trauma, whiplash; headaches and migraines caused by muscles tension and spinal dysfunction; lower back pain due to disc injuries, herniation, nerve pinch, sciatica, and or spinal joint misalignment; shoulder pain; wrist pain and carpal tunnel; hip pain; knee and foot pain due to flatness and injury.  Dr. Zavosh has a great interest in human biomechanics and kinetics, new chiropractic treatments, joint, muscle and nerve tissue recovery, and the connection between exercise and recovery.
